Originally from England, artist Jenny Polak’s works entail architectural installations, drawings, and useful commemorative objects. Her artist residencies include the National Park Service, Newark Museum, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, and the Lower East Side Tenement Museum, and was an Artist-In-Residence at Northwestern. In 2019, she was the visiting artist at Stony Brook University alongside artist Dread Scott. In 2020, her art was featured in Long Island City as part of the Monuments Now! Ten Emerging Artist Fellowship Projects, Pierogi Gallery in New York City, and at Tufts University. Her work has been shown in Europe, the UK, and the United States. She received her B.A. from Cambridge University and St. Martins School of Art London and her M.F.A. from the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
