The Action Lab welcomed Sixth Street Community Center as an Anchor Partner in its September 28, 2026 newsletter.
Founded in 1978, the center serves Lower East Side communities through education, health, wellness and food justice. Its community supported agriculture program connects local families with Hudson Valley farms, alongside urban gardening, nutrition and youth programs.
The Action Lab shares space with the center at 638 East 6th Street, in a former synagogue restored by neighborhood residents.
