Embodied Purpose retreat participants at Blue Mountain Center.

In late May 2026, The Action Lab’s Learning and Leadership team convened organizers, trainers and movement leaders at Blue Mountain Center, an Anchor Partner.

Participants from BOLD, the Carolina Federation, Power U/Miami Workers Center, the Organizing Center and other organizations examined how personal and collective transformation can inform organizing strategy.

The retreat began an ongoing collaboration to develop and test approaches that strengthen leadership, relationships and the capacity to sustain movement work.
