This Monday, The Action Lab and our partners in the Providers Organized for Power (POP) coalition will gather at City Hall Park in NYC as part of a national day of action in support of child care providers.
We are calling for an end to the child care assistance waitlist, where more than 17,000 eligible families remain unable to access the services they are entitled to. We are also demanding immediate wage subsidies for the thousands of providers who effectively earn just $6 an hour.
