Why Choose The Action Lab?

Creating shared spaces that support stepping out of daily routines, out of old habits, and away from a purely institutional viewpoint to explore together, learn across disciplines and ecosystem roles, engage with thinkers and experts outside our social justice realm, and spark new insights and strategies for change.

A Natural Setting for Building Community

The Action Lab sits on land native to the Munsee Lenape and Wappinger tribes in Ossining, NY.

A charming farmhouse from the 1800s, the buildings and grounds sit on 23 acres of lush woodlands and overlook a large and peaceful pond. Throughout the property there is abundant natural light, gorgeous views, quiet trails, spacious courtyards and intimate areas for discussion and connection. In addition, Ossining and the surrounding areas are nature abundant and offer many beautiful day trips.
